        YMRC Sankhu is doing a project on community sewing which is focused to develop skills to community women and make self reliance them. It is community oriented project.

        The women from creative women group are mentoring on this project. Some of them are self reliant from this project. Many women are visiting to learn and get knowledge about sewing.

        According to women’s good performance with community, they could make many schools dresses for the students as per community school’s request. The members of sewing are doing informal learning each other. The mentor will be handled one group to another group. They believe on “practice make perfect.”  They have many things as on demand for develop this project. So we are looking forward to have helps and supports from you. This project had started by the help of Prof. Paul Sparks from Preperdine University USA. YMRC sankhu and Creative Women Group are grateful with Prof. Paul Sparks and Mrs. Heather Guay from California, USA for their kind supports to community sewing projects
