Eye Camp Youth Managed Resource Center Sankhu has managed weekly Eye Check up program for aware about eye blindness problem when people get older. The program has started from January 2008. So we call above 40 aged people for checking their eyes. This program is conducted by the co-ordination with "Til Ganga Eye Hospital Research Department" (one of the national eye hospital of Nepal). It is free treatment service for the patients from hospital. Around 15 patients got free surgery of eye. There is not any eye hospital around Sankhu village. For Eye check-up, people have to track around 1-2 hours by bus though they have to wait for long queue in hospital. YMRC Sankhu is very glad to provide this service to community. Sankhu communities are also taking benefit from it.

YMRC is conducting this Eye Screening Camps one a years. If Patient had to visit Eye hospital for cataract surgery they had to pay about Rp. 9000/- for the surgery. But because of this camp these eye patient will get free surgery from
