Majhathana is situated at north-east side of Kaski district. It is not so far from the tourism city pokhara(16 K.M.) At the southern side a famous lake Begnas is there and at northern side Madi river is there. It is connected with lekhanath municipality. Most of the people of majhathana are engaged in agriculture.Inthe field of education, there are 9 primary school and one high school.
