Basamadi Village Development Committee (VDC)

It is situated at middle of Nepal's map. As per it's geographical situation it has more remote areas, where are not available the road, phone, electricity and drinking water. But some areas has Road, Telephone, Drinking water and electricity facilities.

It is 400 Km far from Nepal's east boarder and 55 Km north from nepal's south boarder.

Here are 55% Tamang (Lama), 38% of Bramhan/Chhetri & 7% of other schedule casts people live here.

One Higher secondry school, 1 Secondry school, 2 lower secondry school & 6 primary schools are there.
